AtoZ fab sells weld-on antenna tabs for something like $5. You could just put it on the inside of that top hoop....

Two weekends ago I installed an LJ Mopar 7-way wiring harness on my TJ. The Mopar instructions that came along with it said to hook it up to the passenger side rear tail light. I did so, but the left turn signal on the 7-way plug did not work! So I looked at the Mopar instructions where I bought it, which was also for an LJ, and it said to hook it up to the driver's side rear tail light. So I just switched the wiring from passenger to driver's side and what do you know... it now works!

Weird that Mopar had two sets of instructions for an LJ when the LJ was only built from '04 to '06?!

Hmmm. Slightly bigger problem, I suppose. Maybe you could come up with some kind of simple bracket to just bolt to the tailgate where the old tire carrier used to be.

Like this. Just put an L shaped bend in it, then bolt it to the gate. Seems simple enough to me.

I thought I already mentioned this, but my week long exhaust leak fixed itself last night... LOL! Everything behind the muffler just sort of fell off, so we pulled it all the way off the hanger and it sounds really deep now. I kind of like it! Think I might just have a turndown put on right after the muffler instead of replacing the piping.

Oh... It happened. You can kinda see how crooked the passenger side taillight is even after we tried to push kind of straight

That's the way to go. I did the turn down right at the muffler and you never have to worry about wrapping that tailpipe around the axle again.

I'm assuming there are no issues you've run into as a result of that?

The exhaust note got really DEEP, and I like it!

You can try one of these:

I run one that I modified to sit between one of the old carrier bolts and one of the tailgate bump screws. Has worked for me.

That's exactly the one I was thinking of, I just didn't know who makes it.

No issues just aim it angled down and out toward the tires. It's alittle louder in the cab but that gave me my needed excuse to upgrade my speakers.

I'll take a picture of mine for you once I get off of work. It's a pretty good setup IMO.
