Installed my temporary home disconnects...Made from a set of hood pins....I had to use a different clip on one since I lost the original one.

Temporary since I am hoping to order my Anitrock in 2 weeks

Took the Jeep out for a drive but of course, I had to gas in it. Started saving for a regear.

Changed both of the O2 sensors, downstream sensor was a PITA. Made a big improvement in performance and hoping it fixed my hesitation issue

Took my starter apart, cleaned the mud out of it and now it works again. Although if someone has a spare starter laying around that doesnt work and wants to get rid of it let me know.

Changed out all four front control arms. What a pain but that's done now. I thought the factory ones with 8yrs and 156k might be done, I was right its a lot "tighter" feeling now.

Did the rear drum brake pads today. I forgot how much I HATE drum brakes. Last time I did drums was an old 1987 Dodge Dakota I had. Think I got rid of it in 2001 and I got it used in 1997. Had a lot of little issues with that truck, but it was a horse and served me well. I just hate all the springs and little parts you have to deal with! Took me awhile on one side because it has been so long, but the other side was faster (naturally!). Test drove it and did the back and forth complete stop adjustmen troutine, and no brakee squeekee now! Fronts are OK but a little low, and anyway I wasn't sure where the squeeky brake sound was coming from so I bought front pads too- so I guess its front brakes tomorrow!

From an old Navy Senior Chief when I called him sir- "Son, don't call me SIR! I knew who my Father was!"
