those things are beautiful

you gotta love UPS/FedEx though for how they just tossed them over the gate and left them there as if no one would try to steal them

Finally installed my Tuffy console last night. It had been riding between the seats, not bolted in, and the shift lever cover just sitting in the passenger floorboard for, oh, about two weeks. Finally had some free time last night when I wasn't working on our bathroom renovation or had something else going on. Went in fairly easy, except for a few of the screws in tight, hard to reach areas. If my fingers weren't so danged long. But then again, I'm 5'7" and can palm a basketball. No pics. It was very late and dark when I was done. I'll snap some this afternoon in the sunlight.

Man you didn't post at all when you had the JK then. I saw considered this scenario but I saw 1 post and 2012 JK and thought "There is no way he already sold a 2012 AND never posted here. Proved me wrong! But good decision. May we see some pics perhaps?

My faith in mankind is restored. My faith in FedEx dropped a notch.

Added the grounds I forgot yesterday. Everything works. Got it started for first time since May. Found I need to replace battery, rebuild/replace the starter and my fuel rail fix did help some. Now if I can find a new harness I should be good.

i'm not sure if the previous owner:

1.) ever opened up the transfer case and had the fluids replaced/serviced
2.) took it to the beach or offroading and got water in there
3.) had some tech service it and they decided to put 10w-30/5w-30 in there which i read about on previous websites
