Today I:

Changed out front and rear PCV elbows and grommets... no more high-ish idle!
Got a factory throttle spring and put it on... I had a really heavy one, and it was getting hard on the foot.
Changed the trans fluid to RP synchomax... I can shift so much nicer now! Still a little loud, but Ive only taken it around the block twice, so that could improve yet.

I was doing a lot of winter prepping, then it decided to drop below zero and snow. Got to wait for warm weather now.

Picked up my replacement passenger side mirror, and replaced the fender decals on the passenger side. Gotta do drivers side in the morning. Tip to anyone removing factory decals, I picked up some turtle wax sticker remover for like $7, and although this may not be any better for removing adhesive, the most useful part was the top. Since trying to peel off decals with my fingers was proving useless, I figured that the give in the plastic top made it the perfect sticker remover...and it worked like a charm. Used the edge of the top, and the give kept me from damaging paint.
Hard to tell from pics, but old decals were gray, new decals are black and newer. Forgot to take before of passenger side, so before pic is drivers

Also blacked out fuel filler housing using high temp header paint...we'll see how it holds up against gas

I would be more worried about those brake rotors. Looks like they need to be replaced.

Not sure why it put that extra pic in at the end, and I meant to say new decals are black and BIGGER (hence the different placement of decals) instead of newer...

That same rotor. Looks fine to me, no grooves, cracks, thickness is good, pads are good.
