How did it handle without one? What made you decide to add one?

I cooked one of the bushings on mine...trying to decide how quickly to get after it.

Well before I never thought it was a huge deal but I got the whole assembly for 50$. It was a spur of the moment decision, but I'm very glad I have it now. Theres a huge difference, I dare say between sway bar and the new bilstiens that its a comfortable ride

Agreed - Communications unit, looks like it's use for monitoring . Here's one of the items that the FCC ID traces back to.

Well I'm about done for a little bit, I have collected a bunch of stuff a while back and have found the time to put it together recently. Today I put my front upper CA's on, my currie springs and extended brakelines, I'll do the rear sometime soon and I should be set for a bit.

I left them on, put index cards between them and the body and then taped of with newspaper. Then I gave them a quick wet sand and sprayed them with a rattle can of Krylon Fusion.

Loose wire? Ignition switch was weird on my old 97 tj...one time my cousin was using it to come pick me up at the boat landing...I noticed it sounded weird and when I got home I realized that he used the spare key to my moms Tahoe to start my jeep. It worked though, just made funny sound

The insurance thing makes sense. I don't know why they just didn't use something that plugged into the OBDII. Seems easier than tapping into the stock wires behind the dash.
