I managed to put a nasty battle scar on the left rear rim climbing up the Devils Staircase when I was on my way back out of the High Lakes.

Yesterday my new Shrockworks rear bumper arrived. Busy tomorrow and then out of town for Labor day weekend, so I guess it will have to sit there until Sept. 8

When I finally get the bumper on, I'll post some pictures. The Rubi looks a whole lot better than it did when I first brought it home several months ago.

Sold it, I have no cool toys at the moment....just give me some time though! The following photos are of what used to be.

Today was a long day. Washed the Jeep--then it rains hard later . Swapped rear tow hook bolts so they dont go through both sides of the frame. Bought Krylon Fusion and scuff pad to paint hard top. Start prepping hardtop for paint--wash, scuff, wash, dry, tape it up. Was hot as heck today almost 100deg and well over that with heat index. Too hot to paint, and no camera, so I will paint it tomorrow morning. Just ordered Herculiner for the Jeep. Will have to find some time to put it on. And front tow hooks should be here early next week.

Anybody know of any Herculiner rebates or such still running?
