Got the rear main in, and in the process of doing some work to clean up the rattle that came with the new tire carrier/rear bumper set up.
Rear main wasn't bad, outside of a bad replacement seal. Got everything dropped out in about 2 hours, with soda/slow the bleeding breaks. Went to put the upper rear main in and had a heck of a time. Fought with it for a good hour before ripping it, and going to get a new one. (NOTE:It's been years since I've changed a rear main, which is why I didn't suspect anything sooner. Forgotten how simple it should be).
Anyway, picked up a FelPro, and it went right in, back together in 1.5 hours, and no leaks
Firest rear main was a name brand I hadn't heard of before, but it was what the parts store had in stock. Never again...
