This is how you make new Jeepin' buddies! If they're as nice as the guys around here that I wheel with they wouldn't bat an eye to let you hop on... I wouldn't either!

Finished second half of JKS BMML. Freak AC! Figured out I could undo bracket and tilt to get the long bolt out, and installed it the other direction should I ever come back that way. Re-attached rear bumper... will save 4xRac install for another day.

Just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the Plumas National Forest!

Replaced the catalytic converter with a 192-25001 unit from Random Technology. The old one was having some issues including rattling pieces. Our TJ is over 65K miles and is almost 9 years old (made 28-October-1998). The rattling pieces fell out once we removed it.

Installing this one was pretty easy, but you have to cut the factory downpipe as the factory CC is attached. We almost didn't have enough downpipe reach to get the new one on - there was not a lot of overlap. We added a bit of high-temp RTV and have a good seal.

Also replaced the O2 sensor.

We are going to be watching to see how our temperature changes after this upgrade.

I replaced front brake rotors and pads. Took out amps and sub, and rear carpet.

Caution: Rock and a hard place just ahead.
