Not sure what it did mpg wise. It was just a short run across town for the mulch. I do need to hook up trailer lights for the next run. Got excited when I put the new bumper on to have the receiver hitch, but forgot about the trailer lights.

Put the newly washed carpet and back seat back in. Mother Nature began the washing yesterday with a driving rain which deposited 2" of water into the tub. Needed a thorough washing inside and out anyway. Sanded and primed some rust around the drain hole in the passenger foot well.

Anyone who expects to stay dry with just a bikini is delusional. I have a safari bikini and full doors and the front seats were pretty wet.

Took out my back seat so I can figure out how to put my cargo... starting with hi-lift jack and pull-pal; refer (that's a military slang for refrigerator), and so on.

Installed my Tuffy glove box. That thing is much beefier than I imagined and I think I'll feel safe leaving just about anything valuable in it.

I put a removable wooden floor and trunk in the back of mine. Perhaps the floor plus some creatively placed hooks and bungees would help you?

I keep saying I'm going to do that, but I get lazy.

Gutted and cleaned the interior after I woke up and discovered an inch of standing water on the floorboards this morning... It was a good excuse to spend the day working on the Jeep.

And my new Banks Monster Exhaust showed up today! I'm going to install that this weekend, along with a set of wheel spacers and two coil spring spacers to level out the front. Then I'll clean everything up real nice before I enter the Jeep in the Redwood AutoXpo next weekend. It'll be a good weekend!
