Just ordered me a overhead shelf from Misch Jeep Parts. Talked with them a bit, they said its very durable and has enough area to hold a rifle. If this works I will relocate my cb to the bottom of the shelf like a big truck which will keep my knee out of it when wheeling.

Yeah, I'm having a tough picturing how you would be able to operate the softtop latches. I have a tough time with them with nothing in the way.

You should, in no way, take any of this personally. It's just business. So to recap, I come in peace, I mean you no harm, and you all will die. Gallaxhar out.

Went to check it out after it almost overheated last night. It stayed right below 210 while driving but would start going higher at idle. I just put a new radiator in to hopefully solve my coolant problems and it worked until last night. Opened her up this morning half the coolant is gone from overflow and I think my head is cracked. I have the infamous frappacino under my oil filler cap. Ugh it looks disgusting. Anyone have a cheap route for replacing a 4.0 head.

Make sure you have all the air out of the system to make sure the fluid cycles properly.

Mom dumped her Civic and bought a Miata some years back. I think it is a 99 and it's black with the 5 speed. She regularly sees 30+ mpg, loves the drop top, runs a hard top in winter with snow tires/stock rims, and bought nice stickies/rims for all but the snow months.

At first Dad was skeptical....then he convinced himself "happy wife happy life". Now he drives it every chance he gets. Really not a bad option for a cheap fun commuter car.

Have you looked into your water pump and thermostat? Do you see an actual crack in the head?
