That's after a bit over a year, I installed them end of December 2010 but disregard how mine look. A lot of that is rust reformer paint that missed it's target and ended up on my shock bodies.
The actual shock body/structure itself has held up just fine, but the one that no longer rebounds failed really early on. Probably in the first few months. I first noticed the Jeep squatting in the rear to one side in March of 2011. Just took me this long to finally say "damn, I gotta call Rancho and see about getting these warranted." The other shock was just fine and realistically I could have left it under there without issue.

In Georgia, our vehicles are considered an extension of our home. No CCW required. That said, my weapon always stays concealed on my body (not under the seat) and my permit is in my wallet right behind my driver's license...just in case. Cops hate surprises even more than us regular citizens do.

Sorry to derail, but are you heading to Long's Ranch this weekend out by Llano? I'm looking forward to it and then Tree's next weekend.
On topic: got it aligned at Brake Check since I flipped the Currie tie rod to the top of the knuckle. I knew spending the extra few bucks for lifetime alignment would pay off

No worries......I should have been more clear when I stated it was for when I am not in the vehicle and have to leave my weapon there such as at work or the few businesses or locations that do not allow me to have it on me here in Wisconsin. And yes I do have a CHL. We can't carry in a building housing a police station or an office for one. Also cannot carry in certain gov't buildings. Businesses can post "no weapons" also, soooo in order to stay legit I have to have a way to secure it and we all know that is not real easy in a Jeep, especially one with a soft top and soft doors. I can care less if they steal the stereo system but I definitely don't want them gaining access to my weapon. So in order to be able to use my CHL or CCW as you called it, I need a way to secure it and one option was this lockbox another was the Tuffy product that was ridiculously expensive, or taking a safe and bolting it down in the back of the jeep. I did consider that one though but trying to drill thru the safe bottom for mounting purposes didn't sound appealing.
Thanks for asking but the only time it will probably be used is at work or the other areas I go to that are off limits such as schools, which is also where I need to go to vote. I may use it for holding my wallet or possibly the face plate and iPod from stereo system.

I am not planning on it. I haven't been out to either but would love to make it out to both sometime.

Installed a pair of Off Camber Fabrications windshield light brackets...things are awesome and small...and it only took me 10 minutes to do, that includes taking off the OE bolts for the windshield bracket....so I have one more set of IPF 900S on it with a 130w bulb in them....the 3rd set is going on the front with some HIDs. Just wish I would have bought more of those lights off ebay in that close out.
