Not sure of the brand sorry. Any way you get them out you should def. replace them with hex bolts to save some drama in the future.

If Chrysler/Jeep just had to use these silly torx bolts, you would think they would have been kind enough to put them in an easy to get to spot......

Very easy. Timken is the best brand to buy, true top end parts.
I might suggest StockWiseAuto.com to buy from. I recently bought 2 Timken hub assemblies for the cost of one, and they were delivered the NEXT DAY with standard Ground shipping. Couldn't have been happier.
Total for me was $130 for both, shipped.
Edit: here's a link for an '04 - $62 a piece. http://www.stockwiseauto.com/product...gler/Year/2004

Very nice. You work at Dtc, if so which store?
I'm attempting to track down some sounds I've got going on. Pretty sure it's the front drive shaft but we'll see and i'm sure there's more.

Are the stock Rubi wheels hub-centric or supported by the lugs?

Hub centric, check my build thread for pics that show how everything mates up. That seems to be a common question around here, that is why I took pics when I mounted up my spidertrax

Installed the clevis pin disco mod and finally got around to running an aux wire from my stereo for my iPod. 10 days with my TJ and I've done this, wired aux lights and installed a CB. budget build... Hopefully going to win a promotion soon and will have mucho $ to spend on it!

I have never had a problem with the external torx. they all come out easily as long as you make sure you are completely on the head of the bolt and are using the right size socket for them. Ive done clutch replacements on about 6 or 7 jeeps and never had one break or give me a hard time coming out. Granted they are always the first two to come out so that there is no extra stress put on them by the angle of the trans trying to come out.

Was riding down the rode on campus and heard a squeal(almost like a harsh whistling noise) coming from the back. It just randomly started today haven't had time to figure out what it is yet, but I bet it's my brakes.

Was it almost like a squeaking sound? Is it your front drive shaft (Angry Sparrows)? I know you said you thought it was coming from the back, but it's something to check nonetheless.

Lately whenever I turn the Jeep off, I hear a gurgling coming from the back. No clue what it is.
Got mah sticker today.

It wasn't a squeaking sound, it was like a constant annoying kind of squeal. I'll take it over to my friends(he's got a garage I can use) and check it out after class.
