Picked her up from the vehicle shippers. We are finally home. It has been 4 long years. I think she needs a tire balance, we were a little shaky on the way home .

Replaced my starter. it was just clicking and not turning over at all.. I would have to turn on and off the key real quick making it click-click-click a few times before it would start.

I got imbezol to boost me, to see if it was maybe a power/battery issue, but it did the same thing with him boosting me, so we went on the starter. I removed it from the jeep, and we took apart the solenoid (with help from my mechanic next door neighbor), cause I had never taken apart a starter before.

The solenoid plunger was all covered in rust, but was still functioning ok.. but the contacts inside it probably weren't getting contact due to rust.. I picked up a new starter from Joe's Auto for $160, and it fixed 'er right up. The new starter is quite a bit beefier and longer than the stock one, and it sounds a lot tougher and healthier when starting now.

Gotta love that sexy mud! But why are only the back tires spinning on the blue jeep when its getting pulled out?

Maybe because his front diff is open and only the passenger front wheel is spinning and you cant see it

Looking at the passenger side, it looks like there's a disturbance in the mud, therefore I bet the tire is spinning.

And here I thought it was just the fact that he has stock, Wrangler Get-Stuck-Anywhere's. (<---- I feel his pain, but not for long. )

Bumper

I finally unloaded the crap bumper I bought off a JF member. With that out of the way I started the construction of my own home built bumper/tire carrier.

Buy the rock crusher hinge instead of gather up all the pieces on your own. It's taken days and days to get everything. Big headache.
