I lowered my TC, using the washer trick posted on http://www.4x4xplor.com! This took care of the slight vibes from the Rusty's lift kit I installed! All is good again!!!

I did two things today -

1) Finished up the aftermarket Cruise Control

2) Got stuck in the new snow

It was truly an excellent day!

Changed out all the fluids. Engine, TC, tranny, both diffs, new plugs and air filter.

I've had my TJ for about 2 weeks and wanted to make sure everything was good.

Got my tranny about 3/4 of the way out of my jeep. had my high lift jack fall on my kidney, swore repeatedly. tomorrow the rest of the front drive shaft comes out and then the new centerforce clutch and dynomax exhaust go in.... hopefully.

Yesterday, I installed a set of RE fixed LCA's in the front to replace my busted stockers.

Then I pulled off the hardtop by myself to see if I could do it (yes I could, but I'll get help next time.) Then I put the soft top back on.

I finally got my Tuffy console installed. I bought it used and it turns out that it was missing the brackets to make it work, so it took a little time to get it to work right.

The big thing was that I made friends with a local Jeeper from my neighborhood. He just stopped at my house to introduce himself and it turns out that he has a CJ. Apparently, he is friends with some of the guys that live on my street who have built rigs (that I had never met), and they go out about once a month. So, now I have a new wheeling buddy.

Today, I expect to clean up my garage and possibly get around to installing a set of LCA's on the rear. I might even take the time to wash off the winter grime and the mud that's been waiting for a warm day to come off.

I'll finish the day by attending a meeting for one of the local clubs so I can join up with them tonight.
