Yesterday, I installed a set of RE fixed LCA's in the front to replace my busted stockers.
Then I pulled off the hardtop by myself to see if I could do it (yes I could, but I'll get help next time.
) Then I put the soft top back on.
I finally got my Tuffy console installed. I bought it used and it turns out that it was missing the brackets to make it work, so it took a little time to get it to work right.
The big thing was that I made friends with a local Jeeper from my neighborhood. He just stopped at my house to introduce himself and it turns out that he has a CJ. Apparently, he is friends with some of the guys that live on my street who have built rigs (that I had never met), and they go out about once a month. So, now I have a new wheeling buddy.
Today, I expect to clean up my garage and possibly get around to installing a set of LCA's on the rear. I might even take the time to wash off the winter grime and the mud that's been waiting for a warm day to come off.
I'll finish the day by attending a meeting for one of the local clubs so I can join up with them tonight.
