Not to rain on the parade but I wouldn't run those tail light guards. If you hit a tree with no guards you'll crush your $15 light, but with those guards on you will save your light but you might dent your tub.

On topic(ish): I've been trying to find an inexpensive American made aluminum wheel as I look into larger tires

I'm ordering my SYE and CV this week also. I've been looking at the Adams driveshaft & SYE kit on eBay for $400. James @ Adams has gotten great reviews from guys on here and the price seems great.

Oh, I've done my homework! I've read multiple threads on jeepers denting their tubs via light guards. And then upgrading to full corners...

So, thanks! I appreciate the advice.

I'm nearly 100% sure that you will not find an aluminum wheel made in America. Even Alcoa and AEV are made in china. Pretty sure all small manufacturers of aluminum wheels in America were bought out. There may be a few rare beadlock manufactures but I doubt it.

Picked up a slightly used JD model 3 bender, 1.75" die, stand, and HF tube roller, all for $450 today.

My buddy has the same bender, but with me moving 75 miles away from it, i'm going to need some bending.
