Pulled it in the drive way and put the cover on for the severe rain they are calling for. Yesterday I decided i needed to put the TC drop back in for my belly up thinking that might get rid of vibes...

pressure washed the engine bay.

added Poison Spyder front diff cover and Teraflex steering box skid.

was going to add rear diff cover, but the bolts would not come out at all. screw that. when I take the Jeep in for some work later next week, I'll have the shop deal with it.

oh and why do I need to take it in? my Gibson headers lasted about a year. cracked.

Attempted to remedy my poor gas mileage problem (below 10 mpg). Upgraded to a K&N filter, over the Fram junk that was in it. Changed plugs to find the p.o. decided to put in some autolites w/o gapping

Figured out I needed a new speedo gear to get the odo and speedo corrected, so ordered that. Charts on here showed a 31 tooth (3.73 rear with 33's) and it has the factory 34. So who knows how many miles are really on it. Guy that sold me the Jeep (lot owner) stopped by, and I showed him how screwed up the bumper was, as well as told him about the issues with the thing. He's going to give me some cash back to make up the dif, but we'll see if that comes through...

Took BOTH the top and doors off this morning (Both off at the same time for the first time)

-Drove it around all day doing chores. Practiced Heel-Toe downshifting. (I'm getting 9/10 downshifts perfect )

-Found out that i lost a bolt in one of the softtop arms (i put a temp one it)

-Put soft top and doors on for the night.
