Well, this is my two day log:

Today, brought my new to me AR 767 rims to work, sandblasted em, and powdercoated em.

Before:

After:

I paid 150 CAD for 5 rims, reg 85 bucks each in canada. They look brand new. I think i did well :P free sandblasting and powdercoating as well

I installed a spring mount for my cb antenna, after my old one's base broke on memorial day with a low tree branch. Problem was my antenna uses a 1/4 threads and the mount was 3/8, So I had to come creative tapping of a couple of bolts. To make an adapter

Today I installed the shoulder washers I machined to take out the slop in my front upper control arms. The bolt is a snug fit into the bushing, but the chassis holes are larger and that allows the arm/bolt to move around in the mount.

Here's what it looks like with the bolt and nut removed:

Here it is installed. Of course you can only see one side (barely). It looks just like a washer under the bolt head, but actually protudes into the hole in the chassis mount. And there's one under the nut, as well.

Now to see how it drives and if it made any difference. This is in my never-ending quest to eliminate all signs of death wobble from my Jeep. It's getting better and better....

Tommy

-drove it around and to school with the full doors on, and the soft top all up for the first time.

-Got home, pulled the doors, and soft top windows. (not the rear one as it's being held on with duct tape (missing tailgate bar)

-Went cruising for about half an hour.

-Got home, put on running boards AGAIN.

-Vacuumed out the entire interior

-Looked like rain, so put doors on and soft top windows on.

FINALLY decided to take my doors off for the first time. Wow, what a difference, I love it! The previous owner was nice enough to remove the #4 fuse for me as well! lol Now I just have to avoid the cops (it's illegal to drive doorless in a TJ here in BC)
