Sears Platinum, Interstate, Farm and Fleet Gold Series. They are all good. Lots of people say Ultima brand batteries are the only thing they swear bye but I have been hearing people say all they do is swear at them lately. The quality has definitely been slipping. Maybe they are improving on that now who knows. I guess just go with a good quality brand name (that you recognize) and go from there.

I agree 110% with DaFuzz...... a new battery tends to work better than a dead battery. Winch, no winch? There are some good choices out there, I am just not a fan of the Optima battery.

Bought it some team real tree rubber floor mats to get rid of my makeshift carpet. 10 bucks aint bad for 2
Also had to throw my rear sway bar back on since I'm still without my driver's side rear shock and need to drive back to san diego tomorrow. Should be fun

I did the right front myself. $23 for the joint, couple of hours for dis-/re-assembly. First time doing it, though...Shop would probably charge you $250 at minimum...
Stu's site has a really nice writeup for it. That's what I followed. My only issue was finding the stupid C clips that lock the caps on. Mine were on the inside, and so rusted that I couldn't see them until I heated the hell out of 'em with a torch. Then I just picked them off with a screwdriver, smacked the yoke with a BFH once or twice, and out she came. Pretty easy.

Diehard Platinum is one of the top reccomended batteries currently. I just got a new Diehard Gold from Sears, one they just started carrying that supposedly uses the same cell technology as the Optimas. So far no complaints but its only been a few weeks.

buy used sockets and a hammer (if you dont already have one) and do it for free, read my writeup here. http://fullsizebronco.com/forum/show...166509&page=12
So easy I didnt even go into great detail.

I was quoted $44 for each Spicer, and $50 to install both of them, total being $140. I was going to call and see if I could bring my own U-Joints seeing as they're usually cheaper on the outside (Auto/Advance). I'm just nervous of bending the shafts since they've been in New England their whole life and have been exposed to rust beyond their wildest dreams. Not usually a great position to be starting from.
Thanks for the reply! I'll consider it myself, I know Harbor Freight sells the U-Joint press for $23 someodd bucks.

Took it to Rausch Creek this weekend for some wheeling.
Now I'm doing some touch up work/detailing from all of the mud and rock scraping.

I installed a super sleek, lightweight, lcog antenna
I was tired of my antenna smacking the body and windshield when I'm out on some trails. Its flexible with no reception loss and its only about a foot high. It was 8 bucks at Walmart if anyone is interested.
