This past weekend I used this on a Jeep a buddy was looking at and coolant was squirting out of the head under the intake manifold. Wasn't a problem as we already figured the engine was toast as PO had been driving it while overheated.

Thxs for that advice I'll def check it out but it wasn't going CRAZY just a lil bubble here and there and I'm not really leaking coolant anywhere or overheating at all. Then again i only let it run for a little bit. But i did blow the waterpump five miles from home drove it home and it didnt overheat at all

Drove it to work and called Bilstein and demanded they make a 5100 series steering stabilizer for us TJ/LJ guys. There is already one for the JK's. They say it's in the works and due around January. This after seeing the $105 price tag on the BDS stabilizer that matches the Bilstein look. Rip off.

And it's a $65 part from rockauto. Maybe I'll drive around without it for the next 10 years...

See, the difference between you and me is that you blow up lots of little stuff, I blow up a few big things.
There's a clutch override location?

I helped a buddy install a new belt in his tj but when we started her up the belt was squealing and smoking. We turned her off and I noticed one of his idler pulleys was seized. I took it off we bought another and put it all back on fired her up and she runs great!
He then rewarded me with some homemade rum pot and beer!
I enjoy working on jeeps even when I put in 4 new pistons in mine due to skirt drop.
I don't have pics of me helping my buddy but that was minor. Here is one of my broke skirt:

Are you having other issues? It is possible that you just have air bubbles..... leave cap off, turn heat on high hot, and let it run.... if it doesn't get hot, doesn't puke coolant all over, or have other issues like coolant in the oil, you may not have an issue with head gasket.... the pressure tester (and a compression test) will will tell the story as if you can't hold pressure, there is a leak somewhere.

Thats EXACTLy what I did lol it didnt over heat but the pressure in the hose wouldn't calm down thats why I'm thinking it might be the head gasket

Rent the coolant system pressure tester and do a compression test on the cylinders..... you will have a better idea once you do. FYI, the #3 cylinder seems to have a better chance than the others to be the problem.... test all of them, but #3 seems to be the issues more times than not for some reason.

If you can't hold pressure in the coolant system, then you have a problem. Sometimes you can remove the valve cover with system under pressure and see a crack in the head. Other times, you will actually see coolant dripping on the ground... there are a lot of reasons including a blown head gasket, pin hole in a hose, leaky heater core, etc., that can cause a cooling system not to hold pressure. However, if you have a cooling system that won't hold pressure and a cylinder with a compression issue, you can feel safe your problem is head gasket and/or head related. Good luck and keep us posted on what you find.

After working 10 days in a row, I finally have a day off, so I adjusted my RC stabilizers, and painted the frame, , gas take skid, skid plate, front axle and components.

i reused the factory washers plus two thinner washers as shims and there are zero lateral movement to wear them out. I shall see how they wear though.
