Turn the one clamp towards the foot of the HiLift and the other will face 90* and you'll use just one leg there. Be careful as it gets heavy by yourself lining it up initially, easy after that by putting the foot on clamp 1st.

I think ill mount it to the roll bar. Sure as heck not buying there mounting hardware. $50 no way. Thanks for the ideas buddy

Yup. those pins break pretty easy and have come out while driving. The piece the pin goes into as well get's pretty messed up if you don't switch it out. Not really worth the trouble IMO.

Spark plugs (the old ones were TOAST after not that long, about 40,000 km)
Polished the wheels before winter
Greased everything
Fixed the split vacuum accumulator for the HVAC system

Went out for the night. Saw some friends, and had some fun. Then I hopped in the Jeep to go home and it wouldn't start.
WTF?
Turn the key, and just a faint click. my voltmeter doesn't drop any, & my starter doesn't spin. Nothing.
Spent 20 minutes cussing, tapping the starter, checking connections, and pulling fuses & relays with my Swiss Army Knife (the only tool I keep in my Jeep 24/7).
Was so afraid my kill switch (and its bypass switch) had gone out all of a sudden, and I was gonna hafta pull it with a Swiss Army Knife in the middle of a parking lot at 2am...
Finally, as a last ditch effort, I pulled my fog light fuse, and put it in the clutch override location.
Jeep started right up.
Guess this means my clutch pedal sensor switch has gone out on my 06 with NO warning what so ever... Man, I thought those switches lasted longer.
And it's a $65 part from rockauto. Maybe I'll drive around without it for the next 10 years...

Don't get me wrong I like them and bring it all the time. The problem is anyone can go out buy one and end up cracking their skull 5 minutes later because they didn't know and didn't read the instructions (who does?). Last time we went out we intentionally demonstrated why they need to be given their due respect on a burned out GC. It's really easy to get the arm swinging. About a half dozen people learned something new that day and looked at them through different eyes.

I've been driving around with mine bypassed for a couple of years. Every now and then, I think maybe I should fix it but haven't done it yet.

Did you remove the water pump, or did the compression in the water jacket remove it for you?
What is the plan for repair? New head gasket? New JY engine? Reman engine?

No I swapped the waterpump out that was the pic before I put it in, if you zoom in you can see how the pully actually dug into in the block =/ the fan blade was as wobble as a tire during a death wobble. once I put everything back together the radiator fluid kept bubbling and the hose was too stiff even after the engine shut off which would mean the head gasket right? I'm just going to replace the head gasket can't really afford any other kind of engine =(

Bubbles in radiator typically not a good thing. Does it get hot real quick? Rent a "Coolant system pressure tester" (basically a radiator cap with little bicycle pump & guage attached) from Auto Zone..... this will allow you to pressurize the cooling system and possibly see where coolant is going. This past weekend I used this on a Jeep a buddy was looking at and coolant was squirting out of the head under the intake manifold. Wasn't a problem as we already figured the engine was toast as PO had been driving it while overheated.
