Careful, you'll get burnt at the stake for using the "c" word here.
I haven't posted here in a while, been pretty busy. But I put the hardtop back on in anticipation of the colder, rainier weather plus I'll be commuting a bit further over the winter. Also, added a couple of stickers. Oh yeah, and I washed it for the first time since...March? April? Anyway, its cleaner than its been in a while.

Finally got my OX locker yesterday for the rear. Time to finish my regear and get that bad boy in. Anyone know a good shop in the Ventura, CA area?

Well my wife just called and said the check engine light is on. Looks like I've got some diagnosing to do when she gets home. Hopefully its something simple and cheap!

If gas was filled in the last little bit, most likely a loose gas cap

Not the gas cap looks like another o2 sensor this one didn't last 5000 miles. The one I pulled out was original and had over 200k on it
Edit
I searched the code and its the downstream sensor this time.
I can get the NTK brand for 40$ from rockauto so still a cheap fix. Autozone wanted 70 for the Bosch I told him no thanks.

I took her out for her first romp in the mud...and I think the fuel pump is shot...
On the ride home, she started puttering a lot whenever I touched the gas pedal. So now I'll have to figure that one out before I can drive her again....

Check your spark plugs and your TPS and your distributor cap, the rotory button inside your cap....all of those were a problem of my putterin problems

Try a new TPS sensor before you do anything major. They go bad a lot on TJs its a normal problem for them expecially when they get wet/muddy and you're on and off the gas a lot like when mudding/offroading for long periods of time. Its only like a $45 part from NAPA or the like.
