Just rolled over to 60,000 miles before pulling it into the garage.........for a 97 thats some pretty low mileage, but last owner was in D.C. apparently city driving. Put about 3 or 4k miles on it since I got it. Somehow today I got two bikes with front tires removed to fit in jeep with rear liftglass closed, tight fit. Will probably find some little project for the weekend, but I just forgot what I was gonna do......haha.

Just spent $4000+

Well, it's about time I do it. Wife says it's only a car and I'm tired of hearing that!!!! Today I ordered....... LoD Rear Bumper w/Aframe, Skyjacker Single Flex 4" w/Nitros, Olympic X-treme Reverse-A-Bars (so she can get in if I decide to take her with me), LT315/75R16 Baja Claw Radials, Spidertrax 1.25 wheel spacers and some other miscelaneous stuff to make it all work (like grab handles she's only 4'11" and got her an embroydered pink Jeep hat, that should make it all better). I didn't order a front bumper, I'm waiting for her to say something again. Then it's a Highrock Bumper and a winch w/compressor. She'll never learn she complained about no room in my Audi TT Quatro Roadster, traded it off on the Rubicon and I have never been happier (until I placed my order today)!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I drove it, and painted my front flares to match, then I used cleaner wax to get rid of the over spray. Next time i'm going to take them off, much easier.

Where did you order your mount?? When I order mine, I want the one that attaches to the dash.

Yesterday: Removed the front driveshaft to see if it was contributing to my death wobble. It wasn't.

Today: Brought home my newly purchased (and long overdue) hydraulic press.

Stripped out entire interior, and cleaned floor. Replaced interior, and managed to use the wrong screws in 4 holes, 3 of which went it after some Air Ratcheting (Ruined the old threads unfortunately) The forth is at the back of the full console, passenger side. It would normally be hidden under the drink holder. I'm gonna try some BFH tomorrow and see if i can't get it to fit.

Also when putting the passenger seat back in, i crossthreaded one of the bolts. I didn't realize due to fatigue, and lack of feedback from the air ratchet. Now the bolt went in crooked, but is still holding the seat fine. Do you guys think this might be a problem in an accident situation? What should i do to get the bolt to thread in straight? Can i re-tap the hole?

Well, today I...

1. Removed Stickers from Soft Top Windows, spent like two hours with goo gone, pain in the ***

2. Polished said windows with Novus System, worked great!

3. Installed a new Instatrunk

4. Installed Anti-Theft Door Nuts

5. Installed Tuffy Glovebox

6. Installed new front dash speakers - Kickers

7. "Installed" New Door Straps

8. Removed Hard Top and Placed into Storage

9. Put on Soft Top Hardware, discovered bolts and rear knuckles missing

10. Went to two Jeep Dealerships, got new knuckles for the rear bow, then to a Hardware store for new bolts

11. Finally finished installing and setting up soft-top

12. Windy and Rainy for the next 3 days(all weekend) ruining my chances to enjoy going around with the top off now that I have the soft to fold down

Added a 3' mast to my HF antenna. Now I've got an 11' whip!

Works much better with the radio, but really has to be tied down for driving around town with all the trees overhanging the roads.

Bought a rear tow shackle that inserts into the 2" hitch receiver, a rampage combo bikini/safari top and the winshield channel to put it on.

-Flipped the sun visors, but not before trying to remove the stickers on the driver's side, and leaving a gooey mess! (even after goo gone)

-Chirped 2nd or 3rd gear (can't remember) with some enthusiastic shifting. Oops! I must of given it too much gas when letting out the clutch!
