Bought it a Duralast gold battery. I read that they are rated very high and the Die Hard P1 was double the cost of the Duralast so it didn't make sense.

The Novak shifter can be ordered from Savvy Offroad or PM Gerald from Savvy here on JF to see if they got any sales going. I think they do a JF discount with a code anyways if I remember right from when I ordered mine. http://shop.savvyoffroad.com/categor...?categoryId=13

There is nothing wrong with the Novak shifter, but the price, shift cables might take a few years to get stiff/ hard to operate, but yes they will.
It's your money so spend it as you will, does the Novak product work yes!
Is it expensive yes! is there a cheaper alternative that works yes! So lets leave it at that

The search button on here is your friend believe it or not. Just search for "Cluster Gauge Install"

I have installed a lot of cable shifters for various gear box setups and in time all the cables get stiff/ take a lot of effort to shift, is one of the main reasons I never considered OX lockers for my Jeeps
|
I have a buddy that has front/rear Ox lockers and he's had nothing but trouble with them because of the shifter cables so I would agree with you on that. On the other hand I've heard nothing but good things about the Novak so I guess we'll just have to wait for some long-term updates, but I would have to say so far so good.
BTW, I do like your idea for the homebrew heim linkage. But then again I really can't complain about the AA adapter. It's simple and it works(even with my UHC skid).
