I've been putting off getting a lift and tires for nearly a year now, so I bit the bullet and bought five 33X12.5X15 Mickey Thompson MTZ's.

Now I'm just waiting for my tax refund so I can order Rusty's 3" Advanced kit.

I cut the pins out of my windshield hinges...so instead of lowering it, I can just remove it and leave it at home...

Finished my redneck lift, ZJ springs all the way around, and a 1/4" t-case drop. Tomorrow I'm going to make a 3/8" motor mount lift to completely elminate any possible driveline vibrations. (none that I can feel now, but I dont like the angle..)

Installed my new Alloy 30 spline axle shafts into my D44.

Also made some rear spring retainer clips out of some conduit holders and secured them with through bolts into the 3 factory holes in the axle spring bucket.

Then I addressed my rear bump stops which needed to be 1" longer, by installing some nhl spacers.

I broke the rear upper control arm bracket on Sat, and snapped a brake line. Yep somehow I managed to break off the bracket completely...

I'll take one today...

you just have to cut off one of the "caps" on the pin that goes through...and then knock out the pins...

then a 7/16" bolt, or threaded rod, or whatever can slide right through...

I bought a piece of 7/16" rod (not threaded)...welded a washer on one end and drilled a hole for a pin on the other...

Well, this week so far, I have taken off my front flares and signal lights. Moved the wiring to the front grill for the new LED's. Lined my steering wheel back up since I put in the new Tie Rod, grinded down all the welds on the new from bumper me and my buddy made and now I am going to put some tape down and mark out where I am cutting my fenders so I can fit my new BTF grill hoop and stinger kit.
