Replaced ash tray with a panel that houses another 12 volt socket for the cell phone. Found out from my build sheet that I do indeed have the subwoofer in the center console. Tried the fader control and damn, it worked as a rear speaker. So for now that'll work until I figure out how to wire it as a subwoofer with the aftermarket stereo that's in it.
Installed a bunch of Christmas goodies, the biggest one being an Olympic rear bumper with integrated hitch. I also took my doors off for the first time and went out to the beach. God, I love Florida. Pics:

My 97 has a whole new look and sound!!
Welded one of the two new lower control arm skidplates in place. The second skidplate gets welded on tomorrow. More time to weld them on than I thought... had to remove the control arms too. PITA when they're long-arms.
Got a bluetooth GPS receiver, so I built a mini-carpc in my jeep. It runs on a dell axim and has movies, music, navigation, and wireless network scanning with gps logging. It's pretty useful for something that was built in one day. It's instant on and off and is instantly removeable and carry with you. Check it out:
