You should post your build pics in the RC LA thread.

She saw the results and told me I needed bigger tires next go round......looks like she just approved a lift and 33's.
Nothing beats a supportive wife! It takes some time to get my Mrs. warmed up to certain jeep mods, but after showing her some of the nicer Jeeps here on JF and then seeing some them in action while wheeling she almost always comes around. I think it is a woman's competitive nature, she doesn't want to be out on the trail with the guy in the little jeep. I just got my approval for the tube fenders, and body lift so I can stuff some bigger tires under my rig.....after I get a bit more armor (she said she didn't want to be breaking down on the trail). That's pretty much the green light to do all the mods I want!!!! All it took was some time on JF and a few wheeling trips

Just make sure all the screws are tight. Mine lost a pair of the screws right behind the wheel. Still works, but makes a ton of noise. I need to go get a new one before I start chopping up my front bumper.

What are you doing with the front trackbar? My front axle is off by a pretty good bit, and I'd like to fix it. Is there an adjustable trackbar out there that works?
After reading mudb8's http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/tj...it-fit-738948/ I would say no, not without 2" bump stop extensions up front, I dont want to limit my up travel that much if I don't need to.

So my plan is to weld in some extra material to the track bar bracket on the diff side and relocate the mounting bolt hole over 3/4". I have a Dana HP30 I am building to swap in, so I may just do it to it only and keep my LP30 stock and put it up for sale.

I'm not sure there needs to be more material. Looks like there's a pretty good bit of room over there already. I might wind up drilling mine this weekend when I put in the rear bracket.

Remember that if it is shifted towards the driver's side, you need to move the hole towards the driver's side (where there should be 2-3" of room)

Ripped my dash apart looking for the short that randomly causes my "BRAKE" light to blink and the beeper to beep while I'm driving down the road and make me CRAZY. Unplugged the e-brake sensor and it kept doing it. The light blinks rather than coming on solid, so that indicates the issue is not a brake system problem but an e-brake ground (according to 02 FSM). After taking the center console apart, I found the sensor wire (white with a black stripe) and traced it into the dash where it quickly got lost.

Took the instrument panel apart and found the only white wire with a black stripe going in to the wiring harness and unplugged it.

That wasn't it. I guess the sensor wire goes to the computer and another wire comes from the computer to the dash, so I resorted to my last-ditch effort to stop the maddening beep. Can you tell the difference between this:

and this:

Damned thing won't beep at me any more.

Yeah, I've waited a long time to finally get a winch. I almost settled for a Smittybilt xrc8 winch a couple months ago, but I think I'll be much happier in the long run with the Warn. Plus it's made in America!
