I have ES-3000's on my TJ and at first I didn't like them, but now they feel allright. I don't know what made them feel that hard in the first time, if they softened a little or if I just got used to it... Now I like them. I probably would have choosed something else but I got them for cheap and I did not want to spend alot.
Had them on mine as well, hated them, switched to skyjacker hydro's and it's like night and day. I mean, I was losing fillings, and tightening bolts every week... They're really made for an F-150.
Made two trips to Belle Tire before they got the balance right on the tires. Got one Silverstar replaced, found a crack in it so did not replace the other side - it may last for awhile yet. Got the alarm fuse wire installed and lubed the hood lock. Got in a new recovery strap from EBay (only 15,000 lbs but it will do for me - pulling dead cars out of the way at the mall isn't that hard ). Oil change done.
"Basically, I'm for anything that gets you through the night - be it prayer, tranquilizers or a bottle of Jack Daniels.” - Frank Sinatra

finished cb install.. tomorrow i'll tune the antenna. i was unsure about drilling thru the spot weld to install the tail light antenna bracket but figured WTF and it came out great. so i can open the excel and check off the first item on the list.
Received my SuperWinch EPi 9.0 from Amazon.com. UPS Delivery. Upon unpackaging, found broken motor casing. Looks like UPS dropped it on the side. What a PITA to send it back (repackage everything) and wait for a new one. Disappointed in UPS dropping it.
