Today I removed my Dana 35 and got most of the way through installing my 8.8 until I broke a frigging u-joint attaching the drive shaft so now I need to pull the joint out and put in another. Fun fun.

well I have been wanting subs since I sold my car a year ago.
I found a jl 12w3 and a rockford 300.1 amp for 200 dollars...(I saved almost 300)
this sub shakes the mirrors and also moves the soft top windows a bit.
I cannot wait to add another 12w3 into the mix and run 2 ohm

Adjusted the parking brake, put new pads on my wife's jeep and came up with a materials list for some homemade rocker steps.

How do you break a U-joint when installing a driveshaft?

The 8.8 is a upgrade that you will never regret. Piece of mind knowing it is back there.

Cut the wires to my relays for fog and off-road lights. Walked outside this morning and saw 2 of the lights on. "Wait, those switches are on switched power so I know I couldn't have bumped one of them." Must have been a shorted relay I had mounted under the hood. I knew that wasn't going to be a good place for them, but I did it anyway. Now I have to redo it. Am thinking about an electrical panel in place of the glove box.

FINALLY got my rear fogs sorted out. I ended up hooking them up so the factory backup lights are running on the new relay too. They ended up being a little bit brighter. Or that might be the two 5000K foglight bulbs in the back too.

Contemplating cutting the inside passengers rear fender and making a box for my air compressors. Opinions? Experience?

I had a scare on te way home today. I felt a pop, and suddenly heard the PS pump whining. I was happy to get it home, and find a the return line from the PSC gear had rubbed the radiator support. I was happy to fix her up with only a peice of 3/8 line, and 1qt of PS fluid. I figured while I was there I may as well tighten up the steering gear. No more floating down the road.

I dropped the tranny and transfer case today. The tranny has a growling bearing and the 1 -> 2 shift was getting almost impossible. Also getting ready to install a 4" lift so I'll be swapping an SYE kit into the transfer case before it goes back in.
