I started to remove the nasty carpet that is in my 98. I also started to research on the different products for DIY bed liners…

spent about 25 bucks in grade 8 hardware and installed some frame tie-in brackets (from besrk) so I can use my rear bumper's d-rings.

New alternator

I replaced my alternator all by myself considering I have never even changed the oil (next item) in a car before.
Thanks to this forum for providing me all the information I need to replace the alternator.

Here are some pics, my phone finally decided to cooperate.

I'm going to order the rugged ridge heavy duty spare mount and put a brace on top of the rear bumper to help support the weight until I get a new rear bumper/tire carrier.

They look amazing in person. They're not as dark as the pics show, more of a gunmetal color. They look really good against my blue LJ. Can't wait to mount them up.

So what are "these" exactly? Some sort of fixed upper or lower controls arms?
For a guy with 1600+ posts, you sure don't pick up on subtle clues do you...

I like those tires. How thick are the side walls?
