Did you have to remove the rear cage bars, or was that personal preference?

Yes, they must be cut. I left enough tube to go through the hard top. I am welding in new bars that go back to the stock location but they will be at a 45 instead of the factory straight back and down. Going to use a tube connector so that it will be removable.

I thought it came with tube extensions so that you could put your old RC back on. They did this on "Trucks" a while ago.

Cheap front end makeover:

Painted headlight bezels black, removed front bumper rubber, installed tow hooks and light guards.

And did this:

It does not come with the tube connectors. I had to purchase them separate. You could just weld the factory cage back in using the connectors. I didn't like the way the factory cage goes back and then down.

I just finally replaced my steering gear box this weekend. What a difference. Now on to the track bar. Then on to the front axle seal. Not bad for 192k miles.

When im given a stressful problem I handle it like a dog. I piss on it and walk away!!
