I've been driving with the soft top windows removed, but on the freeway, the rear sail panels really catch the wind and flap about. I'm afraid this will cause damage if I continue. So I picked up a couple velcro straps, fastened one around each panel, and I'll see tomorrow if it's better on the freeway. I didn't tighten too tight, becuase that itself might stretch the material.

The only problem is now it looks like I have curtains tied back, LOL

I went shopping for simple black metal frames for my new plates. I was flabbergasted that they were $16 a piece and didn't buy them.

What I'd really like is to find some that are finished in the black powder coat like the bumpers etc.

But $16 a piece for license plate frames? Has it really been *that* long since I bought them? :-)

Installed a rubber steering wheel cover :-)

The stock bare wheel wasn't grippy enough, and felt really hard. I thought this rubber cover might look cheesy, but it's actually not that bad, at least for a Jeep . When the opening fills with dust I can just flip it off and wash it.

Maybe this qualifies as a "micro mod"?

Bought a hi-lift jack, spring for my cb antenna, and picked up the bumper end caps for my front bumper. I passed the jack by the accountant (aka wife) by rationalizing that it would be used around the farm to pull t-posts etc etc
