I started ordering HEMI parts and finished my crossover steering. The most important part, finally drove it out of the shop after sitting...for longer than i care to admit.

Read this write up on it for a couple of suggestions on where to get them:

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/gauge-cluster-led-install-752937/index18.html

I got mine from here:

Super Bright LEDs ? 12 Volt LED Car Bulbs

Warning:Crappy cell phone pics to follow

Finally got some paint work done yesterday...

Prepped

Primer is done

Painted

With

Cleaned up back of tail lights and engineered a new gasket - outdoor electrical outlet cover gasket

Held them on with a little silicone. Of course, this is only temporary until I can get the round tail lights done

Can you guess what this bracket is going to be? Haven't seen one done like this yet, so I am excited. The only thing that sucks is that I don't have welding capabilities. So it will only be bolted together.

Ok, I can't keep the secret..... Fitted up, just needs paint and a light

It was a busy day yesterday. GF will be pissed off at me for another week or so because I didn't spend my day off work with her
The paint isn't very shiny. I didn't do any clear coat on it and it hasn't been polished. I just wanted to get something over some spots I had taken care of some rust on.
Painting and lighting that bracket this weekend, then Toys 4 Tots on Sunday

Made Passenger Mirror Bracket (snorkle in the way)

Looked and looked, couldn't find anything i could use for a bracket for my passenger side with my existing snorkle so i started brain storming on my chalkboard or etch-a-sketch and fabbed this

I like it, so far so good, better then cooking food.

Finished up installing the front axle and torqued everything to spec, then I replaced the e-brake adjuster which was seized and busted when I removed it, and had the wife pump the brakes to bleed all of them, put the tires back on and finally got it off the jack stands. Next is getting the rad in, the electrical all hooked up and it running again.
There's light at the end of the tunnel.

Auto Zone and most car parts places sell a socket made for this. I think you will find that it is a 36MM socket. Expect to pay approximately $11.00 for the socket. If you are lucky, you maybe able to use a large monkey wrench or a large pipe wrench on this nut and save a couple $$.

Here is a socket for $20.00... However, I have seen the cheap black metal ones for $9.00 to $11.00

SEARS DOT COM has a 36mm socket for $6.99
