After procrastinating over a month, I finally replaced my faulty front axle shaft seals, and U-joints. I had to repair one axle shaft to get the U-joint in it, but that's what the big hammer is for!
It took me 3 days to track down the correct seals for the rubi 44. None of the parts stores in town list the correct part. That's even getting NAPA to cross the seal#, and trying to cross the OE#. Thanks to the dealer's mestake on the first set of seals I got the correct ones over nite at no extra charge. BTW: anyone that's doing rubi front axle seals jeep part # 05014852AA $15ea Save your self the trouble and just get the from the dealer.

I feel you pain, I've done that before, just not ona Jeep, may I suggest a flat piece of 1/4 inch steel as a backer and a ball peen hammer?
Your lucky it didn't rip it off the welds.

Tried welding the hitch I'm building here at home and found out my little buzz box that's designed for 3/16" steel doesn't touch 60 year old quality made galvanized steel at all

I also made a new zipper pull for my rear window out of some 550 cord. I like it

I bought a set of Rusty's 1/4" thick replacement mounts, and new rear shocks to replace the RC base shocks
