My tube bumpers and side bars shipped today ! Supposed to be here Tuesday. Hopefully I'll have enough posts by then so I can post some pics.

I was thinking about purchasing some wheel spacers just to give the Jeep a wider and more aggressive stance. Any comments about this being tough on the wheel bearings ? It is totally stock with stock tire size, I don't want to replace them until they are all used up.

Instead of painting the cowl/windshield get a black top. Much easier.

Painted the licence plate holder to match the fender flares that I did a few days ago. Also wired up an extra brake light that is mounted in the center-cap spot in the spare tire. Just spliced it into the already existing third brake light. I decided to do the light upgrade after I lost one of the center-caps a few weeks ago. Turned out pretty good.

I can't really address your concern about the wheel bearings but putting spacers on was, in my opinion, one of the best things I've done to my mostly stock TJ. It certainly does give you a wider & more aggressive stance, which also feels better (safer?) to me. I put one inch spacers one and it is amazing how much different two inches feels (before anyone tries to, let me be the first, "That's what s/he said."). Seriously, if your Jeep is stock, I wouldn't consider anything bigger than one inch -- otherwise it'll look too squatty. All the best!
