found out i didnt have to pay any of this bill i though was due next week until march, this along with being super bored at work was baaaaad news..... started innocently enough, ordered a winch plate.... which lead to ordering a winch, which then turned into ordering rocker guards.... whoops
so NOW im done buying stuff for the jeep until i get to pick out presents for xmas. Aussie locker and Viking top. Im so easy to shop for Too bad everyone was out of d30 Aussie lockers or I'd have one of those on the way too.

I ordered my crush sleeves to put the dana 30 back together as well as installed the passenger side air bag and control module, cleaned and prepped the axles and brake system to reinstall, cleaned and painted the steering knuckles, removed the soft top and put on the hardtop (different Jeep) and picked up a nice warm and fuzzy mouse to feed to my son's snake. Oh yeah my new skid plate showed up, so I get to add that to my to do list for today.

Got the round 3rd brake light mounted/wired/installed into the spare and removed the stocker.
Set the hi-lift mounting brackets up just need to drill and screw together but drill was outta juice and i cant find the corded one. Started installing my GhettOBA, 5gal tank hiding in instatrunk, air hose ran under and thru and up into engine bay, and brought in the painted pieces of air compressor shell.. only thing left is some wiring so i can relocate the on/off switch to inside the jeep and mount the compressor to the spot i marked off earlier. will set that up tonight i took all my wire length measurements and tomorrow i'll jump outside for 15 min and finish the project up and post all the pics and do some fill time tests. even if its a little slower than one of the viair 300$ entry level kits i'm only ~120 or so into this project so I can't complain and it's been fun setting it all up..

I finally got around to buffing and polishing the paint after quite a few wheeling trips this year. I threw on a highly concentrated paint sealant to keep the rig "rust free" through another brutal winter out here in IL. I'm always impressed with how good it still looks after all the abuse on the trails... it could definitely pass as a mall crawler LOL
I'd take some pics but my camera is MIA. I'll try and get some "clean" pics before I head down to the badlands in a couple weeks.I picked up some super small, bright white LEDs from autozone which I plan on installing in the wheel wells to use as rock lights and give me some ground visibility when I'm wheeling at night. I also bought a pair of small rectangular lights from walmart which I will mount under the rear bumper near the gas tank and use as supplemental back up lights. I'll just tap them into the existing reverse tail light wiring so they will turn on anytime I'm in reverse. I'll make sure to post some pics of the lighting when it's all said and done.
