picked up a set of custom tube fenders and wheel well to wheel well rockers for FREE!!!!

we tried to get the tubes to fit on Ptrs YJ but they wouldnt fit

theres some extra DOM tubing in there for me to practice welding with.

i just have to strip all the bedliner off of everything then paint em up

Took the top off, went cruising for a few hours. Got home, wiped some grime off the windshield to install the JeepForum.com sticker that came in the mail today.

(Note to self: re-blacken the black parts, re-red the red parts)

I picked up my hood and axle housing this morning before work, then when i got home I removed the brakes, axle shafts, knuckles, gears, ball joints and whatever else I could get at. Now it's time to put all the good stuff in the non bent axle and get the front end back together.

Switched out the stock tie rod for a Rusty's tie rod...damn that thing is beef!

Changed the oil, lubed every fiting underneath the jeep and cut off the tail pipe right after the axle where it turns down. I hated looking at that ugly pipe going all the way back. Also packed up the back for a day of offroading up at Cleghorn for a Halloween run tomorrow.

This week I took off the ancient soft top and put up the freshly painted hard top. Also painted the front bumper while the weather was halfway nice.

Bought some stainless screws to fill the holes the PO drilled in the windshield frame for a lightbar or something like that. Might get on that today if it warms up enough.
