i ordered it from a local offroad shop it was more than i thought it would be but i don't mind the price .. $399 for steering $30shipping and $23 for state sales tax

Well, thats why I clarified it in bottom of my posting
But seriously, on a straight stretch it probably could be done in a TJ (not at 2000 rpm though).
I know 100k kms is only about 62k miles. So hopefully it won't give me any grief for a long time to come.

you could easily get 200,000 kms. 124,000 miles isn't that much for a jeep

It will take me another 12 yrs to get that much mileage if i keep up the rate i'm at now.
Oh, i drove to work today but tomorrow, tomorrow is a big day. I'll be cleaning and probably painting the underside of the jeep: diff covers, axles, control arms and such.

Installed new hub assemblies/wheel bearings in the front...my old ones were GONE. Feels like a brand new Jeep

Ah, I installed a new to me lower steering shaft. Man it feels like a new jeep. also new front brakes. Oh. I also took the top and doors off for the open air ride.

My TJ is in a friends garage for over 2 months now with a broken ARB diff case. Today the new diff case started it΄s way to me from the US to Germany.
