bought some 1/0 ~ 4 gauge weld wire for some much needed up grades this weekend !!
Also some fuses and oh.. a Snow Brush.. yeah I love this time of year !!

heres what I did..

now it is riding like this..
The Rubicon wheels are so much of an improvement in looks, even though I really like the stock Canyons..

Would love to join when it gets going, there was two Steel blue jeeps for sale and a real nice green Sahara and I picked this one cause the straight 6 and 5speed. The other 3 for sale were autos or had real high mileage.
OH and to stay on topic, I finally got my defroster working and my door now can be locked and unlocked from the outside. Took my hard top off and got nagged at by my wife LOL ... "Winters coming and you take your top off... what if it rains or something."

made a mud hole and slung some mud first time with the mt's.  worked great! now gotta change the wire in my welder and work on my trailer and hood shovel mount.
:edit: i'm also going to order a new steering stabilizer, MML, quick fist clamps, and shocks for the xj as well as an adjustable track bar for the xj

Knowing this from personal experience, tanks arent safe from branches or rocks or rollovers. Nothing is tougher than the great outdoors
