with the help of a buddy, we fabbed up a custom snorkel.


2001 XJ Sport 4.5" LA

1999 TJ 2.5L 5spd 2" lift

good luck with that. it might be a easier option to use a bolt extractor and use new bolts with the new hinges.

Cap, Rotor, Plugs
Re-Torque all bolts for my lift

Got to get the girl ready for the wheelin trip on the 19th. Badlands Here I Come!!

I'm VERY lucky my new hinges came with new hardware. I probably wouldn't have even attempted to take the old ones off unless I had new hardware. New hinges are pretty nice. Black powdercoated stainless steel. Looks alot more rugged than the stock ones.

When they say "Don't be That Guy" They're probably talkin about me.

thats great ThatGuysTJ. cuz when i tried to take mine off to repaint them the
bolts wouldnt even move and now one of them is pretty much stripped.

my advice on the screw (i see these by the dozen daily at work) is use a smaller drill bit than the diameter of the threads, then use a screw extractor ($5 autozone) and all you do is stick the screw extractor in the hole you drilled, and tap it with a hammer lightly while turning it to the left, and bam out comes the screw.....you have to tap it to get the revese teeth to bite the insides good

This weekend I installed a set of Skid Row mirror relocator brackets and replaced a faulty radiator with a CSF 3-core unit.

'11 JK Unlimited Sport S, stock for now...

i left it as is. didnt have the time to worry about it. i just dont like the fact that
the paint is starting to bubble up and flake off.
