While doing this I found a tiny pinhole in the seal of one of the steering linkage grease reservoirs (not sure if this is the correct term). Also great.
If I understand you right you are talking about the tie rod end boots? If so, a small pinhole doesn't really matter. Just meant to keep dirt out of the ends.
