This weekend I installed an ADE system and repainted the transmission skid because it was starting to rust pretty bad(probably from salt water exposure). I used a wire wheel on a hand grinder to clean it up, primed it with rustoleum and then painted it with rattle can bedliner. Looks pretty dang sharp - thinking about doing the whole frame with it.

Or use a choker chain to anchor the recovery vehicle to a tree or something.

Will be removing the carpet and seats to dry it up from today's rain from not having the top or doors on.

Installed a Deka Intimadator Battery. http://www.eastpenn-deka.com/products/pdfs/1143.pdf Very similar to the Optima Yellow Tops but about $50 cheaper. Some that I've talked to say it's better.

Installed a set of Jeeperman Skidz - birthday gift from the girlfriend. Not sure it was a good idea to work 7:30a to 11p and then start wrenching on the Jeep, but I could not wait to install them.
Easy install - they rock. Now, I just have to wait for some retard to toss a door into them at the grocery store - oh yeah, I bet they are great offroad
(still a mini-van door does not stand a chance)
