Nothing compared to JBWood05TJ... but I just finished changing fluids for my manual NV3550 transmission and NP231 transfer case. Very easy DIY job and couldn't be happier with the smooth gear transfers.

Here's a really good write up that's been circulating around for this...

Jeep NV3550 Transmission & NP231 Transfer Case Service

Changed my Mopar tranny fluid to GM's Syncromesh. Awesome difference! That Syncromesh totally took away my rough, gear on gear "thunk" shifts.
P.S. - Thanks for the advice Jerry!

I received presents yesterday from the big brown truck, such as 4.56 gears, front 30 spline shafts with an arb locker. Today I will be receiving the rear arb locker and the compressor.

Just waiting to get it back from the dealership, because they won't find the problem I'm having with the stupid nsg370...

Last night I cussed, beat, banged, drove back and forth, wasted money, broke things, grinded, sweat, blead, and got one LCA skid installed. And found a new problem that will require more of the above...

I'm SO gald that I decided it would be fun to build a RHD TJ! :

Be very careful with the wife mod. Uninstallation can be extremely expensive. Wife mods have been known to take the Jeep and all other mods during the uninstall process. Also, make sure you service your wife mod properly as often as humanly possible. Wife mods not properly serviced may malfunction or uninstall themselves at any time.

had to replace the parking brake lever last night.

the spring and button had broken somehow, so had to go to dealer adn get one for $56.

kinda of pain to get the center console out and I never did get it all the way out, but lifted it up enough to get at the level with just enough room to reach in. woulda beenb easier if I coulda gotten that console all the way out.

I got about 88% done with installing my Aussie front locker. I'd be done in a few if my wife didn't have to go to her second job!!

Thanks everyone. I'm really looking forward to getting these in.

I have contacted the trucking company and asked them to just bypass Austin.
