Hard top

I have a question. I thought that a hard top would fit a 97-06wrangler. But I went to get a hard top off a 97 but it wouldn't fit my 99. Does anyone know why. It was a little short and wider...If anyone knows please help

There is a lot of variation in the tubs and the fiberglass tops... enough to make fitment difficult sometimes.

The width can be solved by just having a friend push in at the bottom from the outside while you put the bolts in... For the front-to-back fit you can probably pull it tight by leaving the side rail bolts loose until you get the windshield header clamps in, then tighten the bolts.

Picked up my cage from the powder coater last night. I can't say enough good things about this guy.

It was dropped off late last Wednesday afternoon. He called first thing yesterday morning to say it was done.

He quoted me $150-$200 over the phone without seeing it. When he sprayed mine he was doing some parts for someone elase who requested gloss black with clear over it (I just asked for gloss black), so he went ahead and cleared mine too - for free! And he only charged me $150 There was a total of 23 pieces and it looks great!

I drive on the right side, what's wrong with you?

Be very careful with the wife mod. Uninstallation can be extremely expensive. Wife mods have been known to take the Jeep and all other mods during the uninstall process. Also, make sure you service your wife mod properly as often as humanly possible. Wife mods not properly serviced may malfunction or uninstall themselves at any time.
