I finally managed to wire my 29 Mhz radio directly to the battery, as it's supposed to be according to the instructions. Now I can use my cigarette lighter power point for other things again when I'm on a trail with the club...
My brother and I also had a look at how I can fit a manual idle control from a diesel Isuzu, but I'm not too sure about that yet.

picked up a 8" skyjacker rock ready kit through a trade(waiting to install later this week, finished installing my 87 xj dana 44 w/true trac and 4.10s that i got for $250, and just test drove it and pissed some neighbors off.
Sold the wife's Pathfinder a few weeks back, so I had to take the bikini top off, and put the soft top and doors back on, and throw the soft doors in the back seat for those every afternoon showers, since it is my DD again for a while. She is driving my truck right now.
