Pulled the rear diff cover. Stupid rubber hose came off and my rubi locker wouldnt work this weekend. Easy fix, but annoying none the less.

Bolted on 1.25" 4.5x5 -> 5x5 conversion spacers and a set of 16" wheels from a 2008.
Modified the tire carrier to fit the 5x5 bolt pattern on the spare.

wheeled it hard and drove it home. I got stung three times by yellow jakets, bit by a spider, 50 skeeter bites, and we saw a rattlesnake (rare in Ohio)

pics: so it did happen!

I went to the Cinders OHV area in Flagstaff,AZ.

Went to competition hill and saw this row of crawlers so I said what the heck and pulled in line.

Mines the yellow TJ. I was outgunned, but not outclassed. They had a lot of good tips too.

Drug boulders around my property with the Jeep. Then I moved it into the garage so I can swap out the track bar and steering. All Currie after this!

It was! The guy who owned the white crawler with the flag on it, let his 14 year old daughter teach me how to drive a twin stick. It was kinda embarrasing at first but she's been crawling in it since she was 10 and knows what she's doing.

Editors note: I tried to be very careful how I worded that to keep the pervs at bay from "fixing it." I doubt that I succedded.

Twin sticks and a 14 year old girl. I don't think there is anyway to word that without it being taken a different way LOL.

Pretty neat though.....

This:Using a twin stick on the D300 gives you a shifter for each output shaft. A couple of the things this allows is the use of 2wd (RWD) Low for crawling over hi-traction areas like slickrock, and FWD Low for doing front digs. To prevent the possibility of putting one output into Hi and the other into Low, there are 2 interlock pills in the front output bearing housing.
