Replaced my bent 4.5 RE front springs with new ones.....

God grant me the serenity to accept the impossible trails I cannot crawl, courage to crawl the twisted trails I can, and the wisdom to keep the rubber side down.

Took a stroll over to the local car "gathering" to show the ricers a thing or two. Sadly though I was the only jeep that didn't have chrome and shiny rims. And no one would let me park on their hood.

As I was leaving I performed a nice 2 wheel donut. Sorta wasn't expected.

When I originally bought this my husband was on a trail run (goes to show you dont leave your wife at home hahaha) and the kid i bought it from we think just played in the mud too much and didnt take care of it. We originally opened up the rear to find it dry. so i think it just gave up finally today. Its a good project tho thats for sure!

Had the rear pinion seal replaced at the dealership under warranty again and am waiting for them to get the outer bearing, seal and retainer for the pass side axle shaft since it is leaking. Ordered Amsoil for the front and rear diffs and for the tranny. Got autolite double plat plugs. Plan on going over the entire jeep before moving away to school at Penn State.

On my TJ found the source for check engine light. Though the code was cat not working properly (P0420), it actually was the rear O2 sensor being extremely erratic and then lazy. Changed the sensor with a new one. Seems to be idling a bit better too (very strange outcome). Lets see if that works. Cleaned the mud out from everywhere I couldn't get to at the car wash on Monday.

At least you won't have to worry about the warranty after you install the amsoil.

Why, have you heard of anyone having warranty work denied because they had Amsoil in their rigs?????
