Total one, Buy another
On July 31, totaled my '97 Jeep TJ when it apparently submerged itself in the River. No Idea how that happened Anyway, my insurance paid it off and gave me some boot. I purchased a 2003 TJ w/ 31,000 mile on it last weekend. I love my new one even more, although every Jeep I have owned has a special place in my heart.
I am extremely happy w/ my new 2003 TJ. I miss the Hardtop on my '97, and the air conditioner. I love the cruise control on my '03, the improved rear seat, and the color(tan) is a little better than the blue/green. The soft top looks better than the hard top I think. The 03 came w/ rubi wheels and 31" BFG AT KOs which I like very much. I pick it up for the cherry price of: $13,495.

Got my front windows tinted. Also paid $2.67 per gallon when I filled up. Gas prices didn't jump the last time around here.

in the last week i got the flush led tail lights done, put a tow harness in swapped both bumpers out (M.O.R.E. stubby in front, Hanson full bumper/tire swing out/rack system in back. Put in a painless 7 circuit fuse boss with some great terminal strips to connect to, finally got my seat heaters plugged in as well as a towing brake controller it has been a busy few weeks in all
and today was the reward, i got down to the desert, Black Rock, in NV. I work for The Burning Man Festival so my jeep and i will now be playing in the dirt for a few weeks!

Paid 34$ to get my oil changed yesterday.
...And I could have changed it myself. Just figured I'd be lazy.
But 34$? I took my old Chevy pickup with a 350 in it, had the oil changed and got a new air filter a year ago for 35$.
This time they just gave me 6 qts of oil and charged 28 bucks for it. Then 6 for labor.
Ripoff.

Installed Sylvania silverstars headlights. They work much better than the stockers.

1. Mounted Powertank bracket to tub.
2. Fabricated a CB antenna mount for my tire carrier
3. Installed Warn 9.5ti
4. Installed Rockcrusher Diff Covers.
5. Local shop moved shock mounts up higher on my rear axle to gain a little more clearance.
