I removed the Warn front bumper off my 06 Rubicon and replaced it with a Rokmen Merc. I have a Rokmen on my 97 as well, but I must say this one was a pain to get lined up right. The first went on with no issues, I had to beat this one on.

lets see.....

yesterday i finished my hi-lift jack hood mount and mounted my new hi-lift

today i changed my dif fluid and had a question......
why would there be a small gouge in the inside if my dif cover? everything was tight and looked to be in great shape so i don't think there is anything wrong with the axle. i was just a little curious about how that could happen

2nd question....i want to put a new muffler on the jeep and am looking into the flowmaster 40. the only one i've been able to find locally has a 2.5 in inlet and i was wondering if there was a way i could make it work? the only reason i ask is b/c i don't really feel like ordering one i just want to kind of pop it on....if it wont work, no big deal i was just curious so i figured id ask

Got my arb compressor mounted and switches cut in to mount just ahead of my auto transmission shifter, looks like its going to be a good location and haven't seen any others mounted there. A little tricky to work around two cables running to the shifter but should be all good.

Then I finished stripping out the interior and sanded everything down and washed down again. Tomorrow I'm taping things off, wiping down again and waiting for the UPS truck to drop off my upol rapter and its spray time!

Busy jeep day-

Gave her a bath inside and out

Changed the diff fluid, transmission fluid, and transfer case fluid. Should have done the transmission fluid 20,000 miles ago when it was new, went with the Pennzoil Syncromesh and it seriously has never driven better.

Re did my alignment using the angle iron/barstock method, and it is driving much better, hopefully this fixes my death wobble problem since I put on the lift.

Did the roll bar High-lift mount with muffler clamps.

Well today I knocked the honey comb out of the cat cause it was rattling (no check engine light yet!) then welded a 40 series Flow master directly to it with a 4 turn down out of it. It honestly is too loud and not a good sound being only a 2.5L. But this weekend i put Hella 500FF on, BDS 1 3/4 coil spacers on front cause the RC 2.5" 4cyl kit was sagging, Mounts to move my fog lamps to A-pillar, and a sweet sticker for Tarheel 4wd Center, Charlotte NC, since he flipped a tire and patched another one for me for free (honestly a great shop/store and guy).

I put a 2.5" on my and had death wobble. A cheap easy fix is to get a pitman arm off a ZJ its like a 1.5 longer drop and cures it. Even took some bumper steer out.
