Drove it, heard a clunk when turning the wheel (I suspect the TB bolt at the axle) and discovered 2nd is near impossible to get into. And killed a large daddy-long-legs spider that hitched a ride home with me from the trails. Harmless things, but ugly looking. Like Striders.
play a little HL2 i see...
it was sick to fight the striders in Ep 2
Finally received the tire carrier for my LoD bumper (14 weeks later ). Decided to mount my Hi-Lift on the tire carrier for now. Did not fit too well, as the bolt behind the wheel mount was not long enough to fit through the bar. Made a trip to Home Depot for a longer bolt, and got a butterfly nut. Still need to find a butterfly nut for the top bolt, as it's standard and they only had metric sizes in stock

I looked at it, came close to starting to drain both of the axles and transfer case to see what's making all the racket, then noticed my garage was already 99 degrees late morning and I was sweating profusely after being in it all of ten seconds. I went out to the pool instead.
^^^ I like that look. Might do that with mine. Did you have to sand them down a lot, or does the liner stick to the crome?
Changed both axle diff's fluids. Checked all fluids and greased everythingn up.
Also fixed my t-case shifter linkage. Hopefully for the last time. Ready for the next 4wd trip!!!
You know I dont know! I hope it will stick, it does at first ofcourse and seems like it will hold. I wouldnt trust regular paint but this rubberized stuff seems ok.
I didnt sand at all just cleaned really well then primed it.

Today: replaced my spark plugs (1st time for me every doing that myself) and cleaned the air filter (K&N..also another 'genius' install by the PO--why couldn't he of invested all that money in a good lift for me?).
Tomorrow: oil change, thottle body cleaning, maybe removing the throttle body spacer installed by PO, cleaning the engine bay (shoulda done that first......)
