what thing with the light when the door opens??
i have a bad drivers side door button that makes my interior lights come on sometimes while driveing..just wondering if thats the same problem you had and how to fix it,thanks,john

that button that turns on the lights on the sound bar, the door opens and it activates the lights on, so i drilled a hole while pushing the button in, and just put a small pin through it and lights stay off, or you can also pull the fuse, its the number 4 fuse inside the golve box forme

i dont wanna get rid of my interior light that works with the door,just want it to work right,haha..i will just buy a new button switch if i can find one..havent checked the local parts place as i figure its a dealer item on..its poor qaulity on the original buttons..passenger side still workin tho,john

i still want them to work right tho,haha..i will just have to get a new switch from the dealer..i was thinking someone had the same problem and fixed it easy..i think i just need a switch,thanks,john

It wasn't just pulling the metal to one side or the other, it was physically bending on the flat part of the "T" joint(the plate that everything is mounted on).
I have been clamping my stuff down when possible(as was suggested) but still warps to some extent, though not as bad.

How hot are you running the welder?, You might be able to cool down a notch or two on yours and still get a quality weld, also if its warping try going about an inch and takeing a short break, thats what we do at work on thin metal, also leaveing it clamped down till its cooled down helps sometimes
